World Witches United Front announced it is shutting down on August 31, the game launched on October 13, 2020, meaning it will have been living for 2 years and 10 months when it closes its server and becomes unplayable.
The game announced its shutdown in a blog post on its official website. The developers thanked players who supported the game, and then apologized for the sudden shutdown, before concluding it would be too difficult to continue providing a satisfactory service and have to shut the game down.
The game will be suspending the sale of all premium currency and packs on July 10 and will begin accepting refund applications from September 1 onwards, until October 31.

World Witches United Front is a real-time shooting RPG taking girls from Kadokawa’s multiple “Witch” series into one game. Characters from Strike Witches, Brave Witches, Noble Witches, and Luminous Witches, and more are selectable.
Players can form a team of four girls, firing at enemies and aliens in the year 1944. The game also features multiplayer combat letting you battle enemies with friends and create your own formations and team setups for maximum power.
