▍Honkai Star Rail Version New Characters
Like with version 1.1, Honkai Star Rail’s version 1.2 update will be bringing in two new 5-Star characters, and one new 4-Star character, in the form of the two Stellaron Hunters Blade and Kafka, and Luka from Belobog’s Fight Club!
As part of the update Blade will be making his way to Honkai Star Rail first with his own pick-up banner, including Sushang, Natasha, and Arlan. You’ll be able to pick up Blade and his appropriate light cone Brilliant Fixation.
Blade specializes in using his own health to deal damage, as his skill causes him to consume a portion of his maximum health to empower his basic attacks with more damage and AoE Properties. His skill pairs incredibly well with his talent, which stacks whenever he takes any kind of damage. At five stacks he immediately unleashes a follow-up attack, which then stores his HP to a certain percentage!
His Ultimate also causes him to deal massive damage based on his attack, and max HP, and sets his current HP value to 50%.
Kafka will also be joining Honkai Star Rail in her own event warp in the latter half of the update, bringing a host of Nihility specialists, including the newly announced Luka, Sampo, and Serval!
Kafka specializes in dealing with AoE lightning damage to her foes while having a high chance of inflicting shock. She can also proc the DoT damage dealt to enemies by triggering it instantly using her skill. She’ll also get to deal even more damage to her enemies when an ally attacks someone shocked by her ultimate, applying even more shock debuffs for even more DoT!
Luka on the other hand applies bleed to the enemy whenever he uses his skill, dealing a portion of their health as damage, capping off based on his attack stat. His unique gimmick is he stacks up charges of Fighting Will, a passive talent that, when stacked up will enhance his basic attacks, causing them to be instantly hit with the total bleed proc.
His talent pairs well with his ultimate, which immediately grants Luka two stacks of Fighting Will, while also increasing the damage enemies take for 3 turns, letting him, and your whole party wreak havoc on the battlefield.
▍Honkai Star Rail Version New Story Content
As part of this update we’ll finally be getting an update to the Xianzhuo Luofu story arc, called the Topclouded Towerthrust! This story mission update will come with two new areas, the Alchemy Commission and the Scalegorge Waterscape, as players come face-to-face with Abundance herself.
If you couldnt’ get enough of Companion missions, there will also be two more added, featuring everyone’s favorite Stellaron Hunter Kafka, and the Master of the Xianzhou Alliance’s Sky-Faring Commission, Yukong.
▍Honkai Star Rail Version New Simulated Universe
The Simulated Universe will also be getting a new world, featuring the Abundant Ebon Deer players who may have already faced off in the story of Memory of Chaos. This new simulated universe will of course come with new Planar ornaments.
Rutilant Arena is an ornament that increases the wearer’s crit-rate, then if the Crit-rate reaches a certain value, will further increase their skill damage and basic attack, while Broken Keel increases the wielder’s effect resistance, and if that reaches a certain value all allies get an increase to their crit damage!
▍Honkai Star Rail Version New Events
New events will be coming bringing more stories to the Xianzhuo Luofu, and back to Belobog. The first of which is Tales of the Fantastic, a combat event that has you reliving the stories from Mr. Xiyan. You’ll be able to select from numerous “plot armor” effects for your characters before going into battle with enemies at increasingly tougher challenges, for tons of useful materials and Stellar Jades
Belobog will also be featuring a new Underground Treasure Hunt event, themed off its people’s race for money and riches. Now it seems its residents have struck it large in the ancient ruins of the mine, and you can participate in the hunt as well, digging up treasures with a limited amount of stamina each run.
Regin, a civilian scientist has also picked up the scent of some Mystery Trotters, and in this event, you’ll be given clues to the location of the Trotters and then find them hidden within their respective map locations.
And finally, the Forgotten Hall will be getting a new permanent update, in the form of the Voyage of Navis Astriger. Players that complete just stage one of this Memories of Xianzhuo stage will be granted a free copy of Yukong to their collection, either as a new Eidolon upgrade or herself if you didn’t pick her up from Luocha’s banner.
▍Honkai Star Rail Version New Relic Sets
With a new area, there’s a new stagnant shadow, and this means even more relics for you to grind endlessly!
The Longevous Disciple relic set increases maximum HP and then has an effect that causes their Crit-Rate to increase each time the wearer takes any kind of damage either from an enemy or by an ally, making it a perfect set for Blade.
The other new set, Messenger Traversing Hackerspace increases the wearer’s speed, then the speed of all allies when the wearer uses their ultimate, making it a great way to tack on that extra bit of speed to hit your speed breakpoints in tough encounters, and a perfect pairing for Asta if you want your entire team to move more often each turn.
