Months after the results of the Worldwide Naruto Character Popularity votes were in, Minato Namikaze, the winner of the polls now has his official one-shot manga by Masashi Kishimoto!
The vote was held in Narutop99, a worldwide character poll that celebrated the series’ 20th anniversary, and where Minato Namikaze overwhelmingly took the 1st spot, leading to a special one-shot for the character by none other than series creator Masashi Kishimoto. The manga is available now to read on Shueisha’s manga-reading platform Mangaplus available in certain regions.
To celebrate the new chapter the Naruto Official website will also be releasing a special column for Minato Namikaze for 5 days from July 19 onwards.

A special 57-page one-shot manga created by Kishimoto, this manga covered an untold series of events between Minato and Kushina long before the young man became the Fourth Hokage, and the inception of his famous technique that would be passed down to his son and eventual Hokage through his master, Jiraiya.
