D.H Inc. announced that their survival horror escape game “Get Me Out, Please” will make its debut on Nintendo Switch on October 26. Designed with an atmospheric setting, the game offers players an intriguing mix of horror and survival elements in the eerie confines of an abandoned school. The game will be available in Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
In “Get Me Out, Please”, players will find themselves navigating an unsettling plot involving a group of high school students who unwittingly stumble upon a terrifying secret hidden inside an old well at an abandoned school. Apart from single-player content, the game also features multiplayer gameplay, where up to four players can join forces to survive monstrous threats.
A 13-part mini-drama was released last year, which gives players additional context to the game’s plot ahead of its release; however, it is only available in Japanese. Pre-orders for the special edition package are now available, offering exclusive visuals.

Set in the backdrop of the very ordinary country town of Matsudo, famed for its abundance of abandoned schools, the story centers around Hazuki, a high school student. The plot takes a dreadful turn when Hazuki and her friends, during a visit to one such deserted school, stumble upon an old well hidden under a heavy stone. The decision to uncover the well sets in motion a chain of horrifying events, transforming their innocent exploration into a terrifying quest for survival.

In single-player mode, players have the freedom to explore the storyline at a comfortable pace. As they delve into the spine-chilling abandoned school setting, they are tasked with collecting Fragments of Memory which reveal more about the game’s universe, the school’s enigma, and its characters.
In the multiplayer mode, up to four players can engage in a tense survival challenge, with one player randomly transforming into a monster. The human side wins by cooperating to avoid the monsters while breaking the seal and escaping. The monster side can enjoy the gameplay of turning all humans into monsters and preventing them from escaping from the abandoned school.
The game also allows players to interact with their environment strategically. Players can utilize surrounding objects to outsmart the monsters and facilitate their escape. The game offers three distinct viewing perspectives. Whether it’s the nostalgic 2D, the immersive first-person, or the character-following 3D view, players can pick according to their comfort and preference.
