It’s all set! Takara Tomy Arts announced that Idol Land PriPara, based on the PriPara arcade game, will officially arrive on August 17, 2023! Delayed several times since its first announced in 2020, Idol Land PriPara is an idol simulation game that announced together with the web anime under the same name.
And to celebrate the game launch, a special live stream program “Idol Land PriPara Opening Special!” will stream on the official Youtube channel on August 16, at 20:00 [JPT] featuring voice actress Arisa Date (Yui Yumekawa from the Idol Time PriPara anime) and Riho Iida (Amari Katasumi from the Idol Land PriPara anime). The first 4 minutes of the Idol Land PriPara anime’s fifth episode will also debut in the program for the first time.
▍Idol Land PriPara Gameplay
The app is set in the theme park PriPara, where anyone can become an idol. Players can customize your idols with an extensive array of options including facial expressions, head shapes, hairs, voices, accessories, and more.
Once you’ve made your idol, you can explore the grounds of the park to see the idols of friends and players around the world. These idols are all created by other players and you can tap on them to learn more about their idols, including their hobbies, self-introduction, and even creating your own signature for your idol!
Players can also take your idols to perform in live show with the familar songs of the Pripara series. Change the costume of your idols and take them to a photoshoot in various poses, or in outings with them as you take them out to eat, go on trips together, or even set up gravure photoshoots in scenic locations.
