▍Terra Battle 2
Japanese Gamer Reactions:
"The release of 2 is to buff the ratings of TB1"
"The new map explore sucks. The map has too much creeps, waste of time."
"Wah… the gacha mixes characters with weapons…."
TB1 was a great success, its unique gameplay left players with a great impression. To improve this, Mistwalker introduced a RPG like scenario and map search feature to TB2, in hopes to enhance the gameplay. Unfortunately, the new map search forced players to fight an almost endless amount of weak creeps, on the very first stage, making the game needlessly time consuming, scaring away many players. It seems like the road to completing TB2 is going to be a long and winding one.
▍Sangoku Blade (Chinese Version)
三國BLADE
Gamer Reactions:
"The characters are so ugly! Stop insulting the iconic generals!"
"I quite like the character designs, the generals can’t ALL look good, can they?"
"Hits have more impact than Dynasty Warriors! The city management give some purpose to weak generals."
Sangoku Blade/Three Kingdoms Blade first came out in Korean. The game has been compared with Dynast Warriors quite frequently, but despite being based on Three Kingdoms, the games are quite different from one another. Not only does Sangoku Blade have impressive combat experience, every general has a different Govern stat, thus making sure that Generals have more to them than just combat power.
The most controversial part of this game is the character designs, the character models are not poorly made or poorly designed, but they’re not exactly pleasing to the eye.
▍Otome Gears
Japanese Gamer Reactions:
"Thought the devs knew the Japanese market, but this is a disappointment"
"Worse than people expected, but the variety of weapons in the game is pretty decent."
"No, this game won’t last for a month, right??"
The game keeps its shard based system, the only good thing about this game is the variety of different units and how each unit has their own specific strengths and weaknesses which adds a certain complexity to the combat.
▍Osomatsu-san Yokubari! NEET Island
Japanese Gamer Reactions:
" Farming sim? Hope paying won’t break the game."
"I got the chicken BUG, I could buy it unlimited times, but it was fixed after 12…"
"I wonder how long this Osomatsu game will last."
One Osomatsu game falls and another rises in its place. Osomatsu-san Yokubari! NEET Island is a simulation game with an Osomatsu theme. The game features an impressive array of different Osomatsu, fans will surely be able to appreciate this title.
▍Genou Shoujo
Japanese Gamer Reactions:
"Overpowered characters will be coming in future events."
"This is a Chinese game with Japanese language text."
"Still the same Shard system."
The original Chinese game wasn’t particularly well received, with complaints on character models being poorly made, but in the Japanese version, the game has had a couple of work done for the character models, complete with an improved cast of voice actors.
Additionally, the game system has also had a few changes. Removing the VIP system and having characters that start off beyond One Star, the Japanese version of the game is a lot more friendly to free-to-play players.
