▍About Nami Sano
Nami Sano was a mangaka born in the Hyōgo Prefecture on April 17, 1987.
She initially began working as a cartoonist for the Fellows! manga serialization, before her most popular manga, Haven’t You Heard? I’m Sakamoto was picked up by the Harta manga publication in 2012 until its run ended in 2015. Two years later she began work on another serialization, Migi and Dali which ended in 2021 and is set to receive an anime by Geek Toys.
Her art style can be described as semi-realistic with a touch of absurdism. Most of her characters have smaller eyes and proper proportions and are often put in bizarre poses and situations with an emphasis on actions and the subtlety of every move. Often times her manga will have pages with no dialogue, but emphasizing on the importance of their character’s daily routines.
