Yesterday, Koei Tecmo’s action title Attack on Titan 2 (進撃の巨人 2) revealed the release schedule in an official livestream. It is coming on PS4, PSV, Switch and Steam in March 2018.
Besides, playable characters will include two more. They are Ymir and Historia. The former was not playable in the last game.
There were only 10 playable characters in the last one; however, the new entry will include more than 30.
Players’ character is also confirmed to be a Survey Corps member who has successfully lived through the storyline of both the anime’s first season and the second season. He/she is customisable – that includes facial details, hair, body shapes, clothes and voices.
The gaming series is based on a manga of the same title illustrated by Hajime Isayama (諫山 創), which has been serialized in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine since 2009. The story is set in a world where titans exist and threaten humans even after the latter have isolated themselves behind three gigantic walls. Eren, the protagonist, and his friends therefore seek revenge and decide to undercover the truth behind the titans. Two TV anime series have already been made.
