Premium Bandai has just announced the FW GUNDAM CONVERGE WHITE BASE & CONVERGE:CORE V OPERATION V Set, an exclusive limited edition collection of the Mobile Suit Gundam Series that reinvents the GUNDAM SHOKUGAN series. GUNDAM SHOKUGAN are small pre-made Gundam figurines collectibles that have its own distinctive place in Premium Bandai’s portfolio. The figures collectibles that come with a bit of candy.
Traditionally, GUNDAM SHOKUGAN figures are FW GUNDAM CONVERGE series are small, but the new collection features the legendary SCV-70 White Base, codename “Trojan Horse”, redefines the definition of FW GUNDAM CONVERGE, sitting at approximately 360mm long and 160mm tall.
Premium Bandai spared no effort in details, from the bridge to the windows and the mega particle guns, the miniature White Base has all the fine details and equipment it has in the original series. Collectors will be able to fully change the base’s loadout to their heart’s content and display their set on the stand included. Of course, since it is a Shokugan, despite its massive size, the base also holds the signature Shokugan gum.
Additionally, the most spectacular feature of the limited edition FW GUNDAM CONVERGE White Base is the functioning hangars which can be used to house the CONVERGE:CORE OPERATION V set.
The CONVERGE:CORE V OPERATION V Set features a special edition of the RX-78-2 Gundam with additional details on the shoulders and shield. The set also includes the RX-77 GUNCANNON, the RX-75 GUNTANK, and the iconic CORE FIGHTER. The OPERATION V Set is more in the traditional Shokugan size, with the RX-78-2 Gundam standing at approximately 55mm tall.
The new FW GUNDAM CONVERGE WHITE BASE & CONVERGE:CORE V OPERATION V Set will be available exclusively on Premium Bandai at 24,840 Yen (approximately 1,750HKD). The set is already available for pre-order and is estimated to be mailed out to collectors in March 2018.
