On 14th November, Sega hinted at a new “refreshing camera RPG” mobile game with a teaser site. The game is now revealed to be Pashamon, a mobile RPG that turns real life objects into monsters. Pre-registration is already available. It will be released in 2017.
The gameplay is divided into three parts.
▍Photography
Players will have to take photos of different objects in real life. The game is able to identify them and turn them into monsters with attack power.
If the game gets a picture of Japanese omelette rice dish, the players get an omelette rice monster called Ketchapa (literally means ketchup addict).
If the game gets a picture of a girl, the players get a female monster called Mary.
▍Breeding
The monsters acquired need to bred in order to fight well. They can also be acquired by mating, which means consuming two monsters to get a new variety.
▍Battle
The monsters can be used in online multiplayer battles. Single mode will also be available.
