Shortly after the anime finished in October, Kakegurui (賭ケグルイ) will be having a live action drama in 2018. The series will premiere on 14th January.

It is currently directed by Tsutomu Hanabusa (Sadako 3D). Cast and staff information is yet to be announced.
The manga’s illustrator Toru Naomura has posted a special illustration to celebrate the new adaption.
Based off the manga written by Homura Kawamoto (河本ほむら), the story is set in Hyakkaou Private Academy, a prestigious school where students are obsessed with gambling. The protagonist Yumeko Jabami haunts the school with her pretty face, exceptional gambling skills and extreme obsession with gambling. It is still in progress in Gangan Joker magazine.
A mobile game is also now in development.
