Ultraman

Japanese classic superhero television series Ultraman (ウルトラマン) has had multiple TV drama and live action movies produced since the sixties. Although two original video animations were made in the nineties, it has never had a long running anime series. Finally, a formal anime series is being produced for release in 2019. It is an adaption of the manga of the same title, which is illustrated by Eiichi Shimizu (清水栄一) and Tomohiro Shimoguchi (下口智裕).
