Bluehole’s global hit Playerunknown’s Battleground (PUGB) has already joined hands with China’s Tencent to develop two mobile adaptions. They are “绝地求生:刺激战场” and “绝地求生:全军出击”, both made using Unreal Engine 4.

“绝地求生:刺激战场” is developed by Tencent’s Lightspeed and Quantum Studio Group. It is a close adaption to the original PUGB. The other one “绝地求生:全军出击” by Timi Studio Group, another of Tencent’s subsidiary, features elements such as team battles on vehicles and battleships. It is also said to be “completely free of charge”.

The games, however, target at mainland Chinese audience only. There is no plan to venture into overseas market just yet. The release dates are not confirmed.
