It’s been three years since Ken Kaneki last showed up! In the first trailer of Tokyo Ghoul:re, the anime announced its return in April 2018. The major cast members are also unveiled.
The new season Tokyo Ghoul:re (東京喰種トーキョーグール：re) is based on Sui Ishida’s (石田スイ) manga of the same title, which began serialisation in 2014 and is still on-going. The plot is the continuation of Tokyo Ghoul √A. In :re, Ken Kaneki suffers from amnesia and becomes an investigator in CCG.
The show is directed by Toshinori Watanabe at Studio Pierrot. The script is written by Chuji Mikasano. The cast members are listed below.
