Sega’s Dx2 Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation has been delayed! Previously planned for release before 2017 ends, Sega has now delayed the title to mid-January 2018.
Sega Games Chief Producer Yamada Riichirō announced that upon looking at the feedback from the previous closed beta, more time is needed to increase the quality of the game.
Dx2 Shin Megami Tensei Liberation revolves a protagonist who joins a group known as “Liberators”. The game is similar to other titles in the Megami Tensei franchise. It is a turn-based RPG that is “negotiation”, “devil fusion”, and “skill inheritance” centric. Each map consists of a chapter of the story and different story quests.
Sega has announced that the game will be released with localized versions for Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macao. These regions will share a Traditional Chinese server, which is now available for pre-registration.
