Hit anime series Kemono Friends (けものフレンズ) held a poll earlier this year in November asking fans to vote on the most wanted item from the series (希望商品化 – English: Hope for Merchandise). The poll revealed that the series’ original food Japari Bun (Japari Man – じゃぱりまん) was the most popular.
Following the results of the poll, starting on 16th January 2018, Japan’s convenient stores FamilyMart, Circle K, and Sunkus etc. will be selling two flavors of Japari Buns! each store will have a limited supply of 150 buns.
▍Flavors
Hte two flavors including a chocolate and rum flavored bun in Pink and a Yellow cheese and curry flavored bun. The sharp colors matched with the iconic Kemono Friends logo makes the buns look like delicate macarons.
▲ Pink colored bun combines chocolate flavors mixed with 0.2% Rum.
▲ The Yellow colored bun combines rich tantalizing cheese flavors with aromatic curry for an exotic culinary experience.
The buns will be available at 130 Yen each.
