The Indie House at TpGS2018 this year, like previous years, wasn’t entirely made up of games. However, this year, something slightly different showed up. Within all the hidden gems of the Indie House, Fuero Games displayed their new project, Bushy Tail.
What is Bushy Tail?
Not exactly a game and not entirely not, Bushy Tail is “currently” an interactive story which revolves around a three-legged fox. I say currently, because the game is still really early in development, Creators has spent less than a year on the project, but from the demo at TpGS, it’s really hard to tell that such little time has been spent on the project.
What’s so good?
Primarily, what makes Bushy Tail something of interest is the story and how well the creators have picked a fairy tale like art style to complement the story and enhance the exploration/interactive elements of the game.
The graphic novel / fairy tail style graphics of Bushy Tail is absolutely stunning. From wide open meadows to rock mazes and enchanting forests, Fuero games, using Unity 3D, has created a beautiful world to complement their captivating story. With just a short demo, Fuero Games has completely enchanted players, leaving bright eyed and bushy tailed for more.
As mentioned previously, the game is still very early in development, and the creators have noted that they currently don’t know what direction the game will be heading in, whether the game will be purely an interactive story or a story-driven game with puzzle solving elements etc., nothing is set in stone asides from the fact that now I’m dying to further explore the rich atmospheric world and story of Bushy Tail!
