Alice Gear Aegis
Japanese Gamer Reactions:
“Incredible, cute characters, fluent combat.”
“Honestly, the system is a little strange, you just keep farming, makes the combat feel a little plain.”
“Characters have different looks, but they’re not separate, My inventory is filled with the same face.”
Combining all of Colopl’s expertise, Alice Gear Aegis is a stunning third–person shooting/action game with incredibly well-made 3D models and easy-to-play controls. The only problem with the game is that it doesn’t use a stamina system, which allows players to binge on the game for extended periods of time. Without an immense amount of content, players will get bored of the game quite easily.
Kemono Friends Pavilion
Japanese Gamer Reactions:
“Charging cash requires maths, lol.”
“No kid will play a Kemono Friends game right?”
“You don’t really need to charge money for these types of games right…?”
Surprisingly, the game play is somewhat different from what was initially expected. The game is not bad, but still feels like something is missing. Unfortunately, the game isn’t produced by Mine Yoshizaki…
Servant of Thrones
Japanese Gamer Reactions:
“This is like a copy of Clash Royale right?”
“No, its worse.”
“A game where you beat your opponent with money.”
“Its a complete imitation of Clash Royale, but how is the balance so bad?”
This game play is clearly a imitation of Clash Royale, with an additional character raising element. The increased complexity in the game play came at a cost of the fast game play. The game overall feels very slow, which sometimes makes it gruelling for the player. The only redeeming factor of the game is the graphics.
Dx2 Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation
Japanese Gamer Reactions:
“Character’s and Demon’s art styles are way too different, right?”
“From the Demon’s speech to the fusion the game stays true to its heritage, but skill upgrades requires cash abusing.”
“5 Star don’t have an absolute advantage, depending on the enemy they can still be trash.”
“The whole game is filled with an cash abuse atmosphere.”
Although the game stays true to its heritage, many of the players are complaining about the contrast between the shounen-styled characters and the middle-age orientated demon designs. At the end of the day, the game is about upgrading your characters as much as possible. With the game’s extremely low gacha rate (0.5%), they can still only delay the inevitable.
Grimoire Melody
Japanese Gamer Reactions:
“Game made for fans, has 13 Character Theme Songs.”
“A Rhythm Game where you don’t have to charge money and it has cute characters.”
The game doesn’t really require players to play, which makes it a friendly mobile rhythm game for fans of the series. The biggest highlight of the game asides from Grimoire Magical School Academy are the cute characters and the grand cast of voice actors.
