Pokémon will have an anime movie released in 2017. The movie, Pokémon Kimi ni Kimeta!（劇場版ポケットモンスター キミにきめた！）, has just released a preview video and a key visual. Pokémon has been releasing an anime movie every summer for 20 years.
According to the PV and the visual that depicts Ash sighting Ho-Oh for the first time, the coming movie is possibly about the time when Ash and Pikachu first start their adventure. The pattern on Ash’s cap in the PV is also different from that in Pokémon Sun & Moon.
Pokémon Kimi ni Kimeta! will be out in Japan on 15th July, 2017.
