The absurdness is not going to end. A few months after the TV anime finished, Pop Team Epic (ポプテピピック) brings fans an exciting news – an original anime is on the way.
The anime is made as a tribute to the collaboration between the comedy series and Japan Racing Association. No concrete detail is available at the moment.
Pop Team Epic is adapted from a comedy yonkoma of the same title illustrated by Ookawa Bukubu (大川ぶくぶ). It has been serialised on Takeshobo’s website since 2014. The plot is not a consistent story but a depiction of two extremely sarcastic 14 year old girls’ daily life.
