Live action Nisekoi (ニセコイ) dropped a teaser trailer today. Main character Raku Ichijo and Chitoge Kirisaki are both spotted in the video.
The movie covers the beginning of the manga where Raku and Chitoge first become a fake couple. Kento Nakajima, member of idol group Sexy Zone, is cast as Raku, while fashion model Ayami Nakajo is cast as Chitoge.
It is now being directed by My Love Story!! director Hayato Kawai. The premiere date will be 21st December this year.
The original manga of the same title is created by Naoshi Komi (古味 直志) and ran for five years in Weekly Shonen Jump until its departure in 2016. The official description provided by the English publisher Viz Media reads…
“It’s hate at first sight when Raku Ichijo first meets Chitoge Kirisaki. But much to their chagrin, the two are forced into a false love relationship to keep the peace between their feuding gangster families.”
