Today (27th November) Sega released their new mobile game Idola Phantasy Star Saga!
Idola Phantasy Star Saga is the 30th-anniversary celebratory title of Sega’s Phantasy Star series. The new mobile game will be a command RPG. Players will be able to create teams of four and in combat time their use of skills to effectively clear stages.
Phantasy Star was first released in 1987 for the Master System. The original series features a Dragon Quest-like overworld RPG system. The spin-offs are made as action RPG, turn-based RPG, and an MMO. Phantasy Star Online (PSO) fans may find certain elements of Idola Phantasy Star Saga familiar, for it is developed by PSO2’s key members, including producer Shuntaro Tanaka, director Tomomasa Chin, and art director Sho Mutsuura.
