Following an announcement last month, Bandai Namco has launched the official Twitter account for the overhaul of their Jump 50th celebratory title, Weekly Shonen Jump Ore Collection!.

Similar to the overhaul update for Smash Rising (formerly known as Smash Tap), Bandai Namco announced that the Ore Collection will also be changing to a completely different game. The new version will be titled “Jump Hero Taisen: Ore Collection”.

The overhaul update is expected for 2019. From the screenshot revealed, the game will feature 3D character models and have a turn-based combat system. Characters will also have special Skill Activation effects.

▍Account Carry Over
Existing players of Ore Collection will be able to use their existing accounts in the new version of the game. All forms of currency (including premium currencies) will be converted to the new currencies in the updated version. Character levels, materials, and items will not be carried over.
