During today’s Jump Festa 2019, Weekly Shonen Jump releases the first PV of Kimetsu no Yaiba.

The 2-minute long trailer introduces the main characters and their respective voice actors. The animation is done by Ufotable – the studio best known for animating the Fate anime series, and directed by Haruo Sotozaki – Tales of Zestiria’s director. The music is provided by Yuki Kajiura – Ufotable’s long-time partner musician and also the composer favored by TYPE-MOON, as well as God Eater 2’s music composer Masaru Shiina.
▍Story
Kimetsu no Yaiba is written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge (吾峠呼世晴) . The description by Kimetsu no Yaiba’s English publisher reads…
“In Taisho-era Japan, Tanjiro Kamado is a kindhearted boy who makes a living selling charcoal. But his peaceful life is shattered when a demon slaughters his entire family. His little sister Nezuko is the only survivor, but she has been transformed into a demon herself! Tanjiro sets out on a dangerous journey to find a way to return his sister to normal and destroy the demon who ruined his life.”
