Slated to open in Japan on 2nd August, 3D CG Anime Film Dragon Quest: Your Story (ドラゴンクエスト ユア・ストーリー) reveals poster and a new trailer.
Based on the story of Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride, the movie is supervised by Yuji Horii (堀井 雄二), who created the franchise at Enix (now Square Enix). Stand By Me Doraemon director Takashi Yamazaki (山崎 貴) is the chief director and scriptwriter, together with his Stand By Me Doraemon partner Ryūichi Yagi (八木竜一) as director.
The game franchise’s composer Koichi Sugiyama (すぎやま こういち) is also composing the film’s music.

Japanese actor Takeru Satoh (佐藤健) voices over the protagonist Ryuka, together with actress Kasumi Arimura (有村架純) as Bianca, Haru (波瑠) as Flora, Kentaro Sakaguchi (坂口健太朗) as Prince Henry and Takayuki Yamada (山田孝之) as Papas.
Other cast includes Chikako Kaku (賀來千香子) as Martha, Kendo Kobayashi (ケンドーコバヤシ) as Sancho, Ken Yasuda (安田顯) as Pusan, Suzuki Matsuo (松尾鈴木) as Ludman and Kōichi Yamadera (山寺宏一) as Surarin.
