Bandai Namco recently revealed the demonstration footage of action RPG Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot (ドラゴンボールZ カカロット) at Sony Interactive Entertainment stage event in Animation-Comic-Game (ACG) Hong Kong 2019.
The game producer Oofuri Ryosuke (原良輔) and voice actor of Piccolo, Toshio Furukawa (古川登志夫) were invited all the way from Japan to join the stage event.
During the event, Piccolo was announced as one of the playable characters in the game, together with the previously announced characters Goku, Vegeta and Gohan. The demo footage can be checked below:
The epic fight of Piccolo vs Great Ape Gohan was demonstrated in the event as it portrayed the scene where Gohan went wild and transformed into the Great Ape during the training with Piccolo. The CG effects were incredible when Piccolo unleash his ultimate skill, Light Grenade, during the battles.
