BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment yesterday (5th August) revealed the gameplay and character visuals of NARUTO X BORUTO NINJA TRIBES (NARUTO X BORUTO 忍者TRIBES) , which is set to release on PC (enza), iOS and Android devices this year.
The game was originally announced this April under the title of NARUTO X BORUTO PROJECT:TRI. It is then confirmed as a PC and smartphone game focusing on the bonding between the characters from TV anime Naruto Shippūden (NARUTO-ナルト- 疾風伝) and Boruto: Naruto Next Generations (BORUTO-ボルト- NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS).
▍Gameplay
Players will be able to form a team of nine to join battles, while three ninjas will be selected randomly at each round. Ninjas with the same icon (showcases in the character’s colors and shapes) will create attack combos.
Special animation will also be generated when the selected ninjas have special bonding in the Naruto universe. Currently announced bonding attacks include the Team Seven members, Boruto (ボルト), Sarada (サラダ) and Mitsuki (ミツキ), as well as Naruto (ナルト) and Boruto.
