A crowdfunding campaign has been launched on Makuake, a Japanese crowdfunding platform, for a VR anime project of Soichiro Yamamoto’s Teasing Master Takagi-san.
The project aims to put players in the shoes of series’ protagonist Nishikata. Players will be able to experience being teased by Takagi in recreated moments from the original manga and anime series.
Fans can choose to back the campaign through different packs ranging from 1,000 JPY to 2,500,000 JPY. The 2,500,000 pack will also reward the backer with a life-sized Takagi figure based on the 3DCG model that will be used for the VR anime.

Teasing Master Takagi-san is a Japanese manga series by Sōichirō Yamamoto. The series features the daily life of Takagi, who loves to tease her classmate Nishikata, and Nishikata’s failed attempts to get back at her. The first season of TV anime by Shinei Animation aired from 8th January to 26th March 2018. The second season premiered on 7th July and is currently still on-going.
