Today (25th September), Kakao Games held a press conference at JW Marriott, Seoul, announcing the launch date for their upcoming open-world MMORPG with XL Games, The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor.
During the press conference, Kakao Games also announced that players will be able to pre-load the game for iOS/Android starting 9th October. Servers are expected to launch on 10th October 00:00 (GMT+9).
In addition to the confirm date and pre-load announcements, the company also revealed the highly anticipated sculptor class. Just like in the original novel, sculptors will be able to create sculptures that can not only be used as decorations but also provide buffs for players. Sculptors will also be able to find Hidden Quests across the world that will reward players with special items.
At launch, the game will feature 5 classes, Warrior, Archer, Paladin, Sorcerer, and the “Unemployed” class which can later be changed into the sculptor class through a series of special quests.

About the Game
The game will be set in Royal Road, the VRMMORPG from the light novel series. Players will be able to experience the rich experience of Royal Road on their mobile. Players will be able to explore vast new areas from the series, compete against other players in multiple PvP modes, party up and clear dungeons, and even have the chance to unlock hidden jobs like Sculptor!!
