During their 20th anniversary live-stream, Japanese developers âge announced that they are working on a new Muv-Luv spin-off game project titled Project MIKHAIL.
The new game will be a 3D action game where players will be able to customize and pilot their own mechs from the Muv-Luv series and fight against the BETA forces.
The project is led by Yoshiki Kashitani and features staff who have worked on games from Square Enix and Koei Tecmo. Creator of the Muv-Luv series, Hirohiko Yoshida mentioned that he he doesn’t like games that are “pay-to-win”, so the game will not feature a gacha system.
About the Series
Muv-Luv is a dating sim created by Hirohiko Yoshida. The original game was released in 2003 for PC. The game was later ported for Xbox 206, PS3, and PS Vita.
In addition to games, the series also received manga and novel adaptations as well as CDs and other related merch.
