Bushiroad’s Boy Band multi-media project “ARGONAVIS from BanG Dream!” today (5th November) announced a smartphone game and TV anime adaptation. Two all-male bands “GYROAXIA” and “Fantome Iris” are also added to the lineup, together with ARGONAVIS.
▍Smartphone Game “ARGONAVIS from BanG Dream! AAside”
Though details of the game are not yet revealed, adventure and rhythm elements are expected to be included. The smartphone game is scheduled to launch in the latter half of 2020. Pre-registration of the game also starts.
The scenario will be written by Nobuhiro Mouri (毛利亘宏), based on the character design of Hikaru Miyoshi (三好 輝).

▍TV Anime Adaptation
An anime adaptation is also announced and is scheduled to premiere in Spring, 2020. It will be directed by A Certain Magical Index director Hiroshi Nishikiori (錦織 博) and animated by Sanzigen. The script is supervised by the game scenario writer, Mouri.

▍About Argonavis from BanG Dream!
Argonavis from BanG Dream! is a Japanese “male-centric” multimedia project and a part of “BanG Dream!” franchise.
Although it is titled Argonavis from BanG Dream!, the creator of BanG Dream! franchise, Takaaki Kidani, stated that there will be no interaction between girls in BanG Dream! universe and the new project as they are existing in a different world from the former.
Characters of the first band, Argonavis, consists of 5 first-year university students. They begin their debut with their “0th Live” was held July 29, 2018. The second “0th live” was held on September 15 following the third live on December 10 of the same year.
The band’s first single “Goal Line” (ゴールライン) was released on February 20, 2019. Their second single “Starting Over” was released on August 21, 2019.
