D-techno (ディ・テクノ) announced yesterday (28th November) that a mobile game is currently underway for the upcoming third season of “A Certain Scientific Railgun” (とある科学の超電磁砲) titled “A Certain Scientific Railgun: Spectrum Story” (とある科学の超電磁砲 通心物語). It will land on both iOS and Android, further details have yet to be revealed.
▍About the Game
In the game, players will be the protagonist in the Academy City, who accidentally gets a terminal equipped with a mysterious system called “experiment”. Somehow you got to make video calls with Mikoto Misaka (御坂美琴), the electromaster and one of the very few Level-5 espers in the school……
The voice actress of Mikoto, Rina Satou (佐藤利奈) will feature in the game.

▍The upcoming third season – A Certain Scientific Railgun T
“A Certain Scientific Railgun T” is the third season of the anime series. It is again produced by Studio J.C.STAFF. Tatsuyuki Nagai (長井龍雪) and Shogo Yasukawa (ヤスカワショウゴ) are returning as director and scriptwriter respectively. This series focuses on the exploits of Mikoto and her friends: Kuroko Shirai (白井黒子), Kazari Uiharu (初春飾利), and Ruiko Saten (佐天涙子). The story is prior to and during the events of A Certain Magical Index. It will premiere in Japan on 10th January 2020.
