Celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Steins; Gate franchise, two English titles, Steins;Gate 0 and official launches today (11th December).
The two console games are both available now on Switch, and My Darling’s Embrace is also out on PC and PS4. Steins;Gate 0 has released in the west before, but this is the first time fans have been able to play an English language version of My Darling’s Embrace, which launched in Japan on Xbox 360 back in 2011.
▍Steins;Gate: My Darling’s Embrace
Steins;Gate: My Darling’s Embrace is a spin-off dating visual novel that is set in an alternate reality where life is peaceful and you will be able to familiarize yourself with all six heroines and work towards a romantic ending with each of them. It is officially described as a “sweet and slapstick romantic comedy” and players will be able to change the course of events based on how you use your phone during the game.
▍Steins;Gate 0
Steins;Gate 0 lets players experience an alternate timeline that was only touched upon in the original visual novel game, Steins;Gate Elite. Players will have to assist a group of young students in preventing World War III.
