Capcom announces the launch date of otome visual novel game, Toraware no Palm Refrain / Imprisoned Palm Refrain (囚われのパルマ Refrain), on 12th March 2020 on Nintendo Switch. Pre-order is available today (18th December).
The game is originally a smartphone game, which intends to provide a “through the glass experience”. Toraware no Palm Refrain is a sequel and sets five years before the original game, Toraware no Palm. The switch version collects all the stories, with extra episodes, new visuals, and characters settings.
Players will be able to supervise Chiaki, voiced by Kaito Ishikawa (石川 界人), through the surveillance camera, as well as interacting with him during meetings and with messages. A new auto function is added to the game, which allows you to automatically keep track of his every movement.

One night, you pick up a book on the road which led you to a youth, Chiaki, who collapses in an alleyway. You help him out, but this encounter turns your everyday life upside down.
In order to visit Chiaki, you visit the detention centre on a solitary island,
where you learn about the unwarranted suspicion over there.
Chiaki seems to hold the key to a certain incident. In order to clear up his name, Chiaki asked you to help retrieve his memories…..
As you become his allies, you must confront the truth of his memories—–.
