D-techno recently revealed more details of its mobile game “A Certain Scientific Railgun: Spectrum Story” (とある科学の超電磁砲 通心物語) on its website. They include some cutscenes and an overview of the gameplay.
▍Story
In the game, players will be the protagonist in the Academy City, who accidentally gets a terminal equipped with a mysterious system called “experiment”. Somehow you got to make video calls with Mikoto Misaka (御坂美琴), the electromaster and one of the very few Level-5 espers in the school…
▍Gameplay
■ The adventure of video-calling Mikoto
Players will be able to talk with Mikoto. The voice actress of Mikoto, Rina Satou (佐藤利奈) will also feature in the game.
■ Bonding with Mikoto
It is also a good opportunity for you to bond with Mikoto. Depending on your choices, you may increase or lose the friendship points. Special scenarios will be unlocked when your friendship points reached a certain level.
■ Scenarios and costumes from the anime series
You can also text Mikoto and some other characters. As you progress, you may trigger the special dialogues and Mikoto will wake you up.
