Based on AZONE INTERNATIONAL and acus “Assault Lily” mixed-media franchise, TV anime adaptation “Assault Lily Bouquet” starts streaming a teaser video on its official website.
Voice actress Rie Takahashi (高橋李依) is also confirmed to join the cast and plays as Shiori Rokkaku (六角汐里), one of the girls training to be a “Lily” at Yurigaoka Girl’s College. The anime is scheduled to premiere in July 2020.
The series is produced by Shaft and directed by “He Is My Master” director Shouji Saeki (佐伯 昭志), with Mieko Hosoi (細居 美恵子) designing the characters, and Keita Nagahara (長原 圭太) as the assistant director. “BanG Dream!” band RAISE A SUILEN performs the untitled opening theme song.
▍Story
The story is set in the near future, as humanity faced imminent destruction from mysterious giant creatures known as “Huge.” The entire world unites against the Huge, and successfully develops a counter weapon known as “CHARM” by combining science and magic. CHARM exhibits high rates of synchronization with teenage girls, and the girls who use CHARM are viewed as heroes called “Lilies.”
Throughout the world, “Garden” military academies are established to train Lilies to face the Huge and to serve as bases to protect and guide people. This is a story about the girls who aim to become Lilies at one such Garden.
