Netflix announced today (9th February) that it would be making Konami’s classic game franchise Castlevania（悪魔城ドラキュラ）into an anime series. It will air on Netflix in 2017.
The series will consist of four episodes. The story revolves around the last remaining person in the Belmonts family, who strives to save Eastern Europe from Dracula. It will be produced by Frederator Studios and Unlimited Media Company, and written by English author Warren Ellis.
