TV anime adaptation of “Blade of the Immortal” creator Hiroaki Samura’s (沙村広明) “Wave, Listen to Me!” (波よ聞いてくれ) streams the second PV and it will premiere on 3rd April 2020.
The comedy follows a disgruntled young waitress, who accidentally becomes the host of the radio programme, and her wild journey (including fighting a bear, visiting a haunted house and meeting aliens!?!) to win the audience.

▍Staff and Theme Songs
“Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry” anime film director Tatsuma Minamikawa (南川 達馬) is directing the series at Sunrise, and “Pokémon” series writer Shoji Yonemura (米村 正二) is in charge of the scripts. “Pokémon the Movie: Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction” key animation Takumi Yokota (横田 拓己) is designing the characters.
The PV also previews the anime’s opening theme song “aranami”, performed by tacica. The ending theme song “Pride” is performed by Harumi (遥海).
▍Story
The stage is Sapporo, Hokkaido. One night, our heroine, Minare Koda, spills her heartbroken woes to a radio station worker she meets while out drinking one night.
The next day, she hears a recording of her pitiful grumbling being played live over the air. Minare storms into the station in a rage, only to then be duped by the station director into doing an impromptu talk show explaining her harsh dialogue. With just one recording, the many eccentric facets of Minare’s life begin to pull every which direction as she falls ever deeper into the world of radio.
