Created by Mamoru Oshii (押井守), the mastermind behind “Urusei Yatsura” and “Ghost in the Shell”, the original TV anime “Vladlove” (ぶらどらぶ) reveals a key visual and is scheduled to premiere in fall 2020.
A new PV is also streamed, inviting viewers to guess the voice actress for the main character Mitsugu Bamba.
▍Story
Mitsugu Bamba is a blood donation mania, who is a frequent visitor of the blood donation vehicles and has been viewed as a dangerous person by the nurses.
One day, when she visits the blood donation vehicle, she meets a mysterious girl, who looks so pale that she would faint at any minute. However, the moment her blood was drawn, the girl suddenly transforms and destroys the whole vehicle. As she lost consciousness after the incident, Mitsugu had no choice, but to take her home…
▍Staff and Production
“Vladlove” is created by Mamoru Oshii, who is credited as chief director, and will be directed by Junji Nishimura (西村 純二). The screenplay is written by Oshii and Kei Yamamura (山邑 圭) featuring character designs by Issei Arakaki (新垣 一成). Drive is credited for the animation production in collaboration with Production I.G.
The anime’s theme song will be performed by the new vocal and dance unit BlooDye.
