The TV anime adaptation of Tsutomu Satō’s (佐島勤) light novel series “The Irregular at Magic High School” (魔法科高校の劣等生) reveals a new key visual and the 1st PV for its second season, titled “The Irregular at Magic High School Visitor Arc” (魔法科高校の劣等生 来訪者編). The second season is scheduled to premiere in July 2020 October 2020.

▍Story
Tatsuya and Miyuki hold a “farewell party” for their classmate Kitayama Shizuku, who is on her way to study abroad. For magicians, this is normally impossible, since allowing the genes of someone who can use magic outside their home country’s borders is tantamount to giving up national secrets. But it’s allowed to happen in one case-exchange programme. And that’s how Angelina Kudou Shields has arrived in Japan from the USNA to study at First High.
Around the time she arrived in Japan, magicians began getting attacked by a mysterious being who leaves his victims drained of blood. Will Tatsuya be able to discover the identity of the ‘Vampire?’

Main staff from “The Irregular at Magic High School The Movie: The Girl Who Calls the Stars” will return for the second season, with Risako Yoshida (吉田りさこ) directing the series in Eight Bit. Taku Iwasaki (岩崎 琢) is composing the music.
