The official website of “IDOLiSH7 Second BEAT!”, the second season for TV anime adaptation of Bandai Namco’s rhythm game “IDOLiSH7”(アイドリッシュセブン), announced that the anime will be delayed starting from the fifth episode due to the state of emergency declaration against the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The announcement on the official website stated the decision is made in response to the state of emergency declaration currently enacted by the Government of Japan.
The anime’s fourth episode follows the original schedule and will air on 19th April 2020. The anime will be delayed after the fifth episode and the new broadcast date will be confirmed later on its official website and Twitter. Channels that aired the anime will air a selection of episodes from the first season starting on 26th April.
It is also announced that the release date of the opening and ending singles, the anime’s Blu-ray and DVD are also delayed.
