[Qoo News] Voice Actor Keiji Fujiwara Passes Away At Age 55 Due to Cancer

AIR AGENCY today (16th April) announces that Japanese voice actor Keiji Fujiwara, who was best known to be the voice of Hiroshi Nohara in the long-running anime series Crayon Shin-chan, has passed away on 12th April 2020 due to cancer. He was 55 years old at the time of his passing.

Fujiwara went on hiatus in 2016 due to sickness and resumed work in June 2017.

Keiji Fujiwara was born on 5th October 1964 in Tokyo and started his voice acting career in 1983. In addition of voicing Hiroshi Nohara, he was also known to be Maes Hughes in “Fullmetal Alchemist”, Holland in “Eureka Seven”, Axel in “Kingdom Hearts”, Leorio in “Hunter x Hunter”,  Esidisi in “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Battle Tendency”, Eugen in “Granblue Fantasy”, Ardyn in “Final Fantasy XV”, Reno in “Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children” and “Final Fantasy VII Remake”.

He has been a regular lecturer at the Japan Newart College since 2008. He also founded his own talent management and production company, AIR AGENCY, in 2006.
