aNCHOR revealed a short gameplay trailer for its upcoming smartphone game “Project Immortal” (プロジェクト イモータル), during its web event “ComiFuri: I Don’t Want Dojin Circles to Get Hurt, So I’ll Max Out My Web Event.” The game is set to release in 2021 for web, iOS, and Android devices.
▍Overview
Based on the 2003 adult video game “Muv-Luv”, the smartphone game first appeared as a fan project presented by Kitakuou (きたくおう) at the franchise’s “Still Breathing” 20th-anniversary event.
Kitakuou’s presentation won huge fan’s support and was decided to be developed into a smartphone game under the supervision of “Muv-Luv” general producer tororo.
In the game, players will be able to command the Tactical Surface Fighters (戦術歩行戦闘機) to fight against the aliens, known as BETA and builds teams with the signature characters from the franchise.
It also features a four-player co-op mode, zero stamina stages, and offline support, so it will still be playable even if it ends service.
