The English version of the smartphone game “One Punch Man: The Strongest” celebrates its pre-registration reaching 3 million and has revealed its gameplay.
The game will be available in the SEA region and in 4 languages, Chinese, Thai, English, and Indonesian. The game will officially launch on 16th June 2020.

▍Overview
“One Punch Man: The Strongest” follows the original story plot of the TV anime “One Punch Man”. Players will be able to follow the hero’s story of Saitama in the story mode, which features the important cutscenes from the anime. Even though you are new to the series, you can still easily get into the story.
Besides the Story Mode, there are other game modes such as Arena, Exploration, Boss Challenges, Daily Dungeons, and many more that you can unlock as you level up your Player level.
▍Combat System
You will need to plot different strategies in the turn-based battles. Characters are split into 3 different “Factions”; Hero, Monster, and Outlaw. You can form a party of up to 6 different characters, according to their “Factions” and “Series”, which is similar to the “elemental” mechanic.
Each character has two types of active ability: Basic Attack and Ultimate Attack. You will need to store enough energy in order to unleash the character’s Ultimate Attack.
Other than your character’s abilities, the positioning of your party also plays an important role, especially in the Arena. Certain characters can attack in a row while others can attack in a column and even the whole party. Place a tanker on the front can protect characters at the back to a certain extent. Thus, it is important to understand your party’s combat abilities to fully utilize them.
Saitama will be a “Summon” type skill where you can summon him to “One-hit” any single target opponent.
▍Nurturing System
To strengthen your characters, you can either level up or evolve your characters. The Limit Break system allows the character to gain bonus stats and Star Level. You can then unlock their Passive Skill. The skill level can be increased simply by investing Skill Points.
There are other ways to increase your character strength such as Talents, Character Links, Items, and the Saitama System. These will be unlocked when you play further into the game and will impact your party’s performance especially in PvP.
▍Character Summons
Character rarities are divided into SSR, SR, R, and N. There are currently 11 SSR characters for Players to collect. Some SR characters may be more useful than some of the SSR characters, so it is important to know the character’s strength in order to build your dream team!
