Liber Entertainment announced that its otome rhythm game “I★CHU” (アイ★チュウ) will end service on 6th July 2020 at 11:00 [JPT]. The game launched in summer 2015 and has run for 5 years.
The game will go offline afterward, which allows players to continue playing the existing songs and read the main story. The offline version will be available until 13th December 2020 at 15:00 [JPT].
The franchise released a new smartphone idol-training game titled “I★CHU Étoile Stage” on April 30. An anime adaptation “I★CHU: Halfway Through The Idol” is also confirmed.
The official Twitter also reveals two visuals to mark the 5th anniversary of the game.
▍Overview
“I★CHU” is a rhythm game that allows players to roleplay as a teacher/producer to nurture the ikemen idols. The game features 9 idols groups with a total of 32 characters that are rich in personality. The original songs from the franchise are also playable in the game.
