DLE Inc. subsidiary company Churapps officially launches the smartphone game “Howling Village: Echoes” (犬鳴村~残響~) for Android devices, based on the Japanese horror movie “Howling Village” (犬鳴村). The game is priced at JPY$720 and the iOS version will be released later.

▍Overview
“Howling Village: Echoes” is inspired by the horror movie, which is directed by Japanese filmmaker Takashi Shimizu (清水 崇), known for his movies “The Grudge”and “Tomie: Re-birth.” The ADV game also features original scenarios and more than 50 endings to rebuild the atmosphere of “Howling Village.” Players have to find clues and uses different tools in order to unveil the mysteries of the village.
The story is created based on the famous Japanese urban legend, Inunaki Village, where everything there is cursed and morbid. Moreover, the village actually exists. Morita Kanae, a licensed and practicing psychologist who not only is curious about the village vocationally, but herself can communicate with the spirits. She finds herself personally involved in the dark secrets of the village when her older brother and his girlfriend get into trouble after visiting Inunaki.
▍Mobile Game Adaptation of “Suicide Forest Village”
Churapps also announces another mobile game adaptation of horror movie “Suicide Forest Village,”which is a new movie directed by Takashi Shimizu. It takes place on the Aokigahara forest on Mount Fuji, known as one of the world’s most-used suicide sites. The rumors say things like nobody leaves Aokigahara alive, they will be attacked by someone, and a village is there that holds a grudge.
