Live-action Fullmetal Alchemist(鋼の錬金術師)announced the premiere date and revealed a close-up shot of Alphonse Elric today (23rd February). Fullmetal Alchemist is originally a manga series by Hiromu Arakawa and serialized in Monthly Shonen Gangan from 2001 to 2010.
The movie going to premiere on 1st December this year. Since only a part of Alphonse Elric’s body is revealed in the trailer released in November, the movie’s official twitter has posted a close-up shot of him.

The story is set in a world where alchemy blossoms and is widely-used. The Elric brothers begin their journey in this chaotic world as they search for the Philosopher’s Stone. Over 70,000,000 copies of the manga have been sold all over the world. It was even made into two series of TV anime and two anime films.
