Success announced the development of “Project Wolf,” a new RPG title of “Metal Saga” during the “Metal Max 30th Anniversary Pre-Birthday Live Stream: A Wholehearted Thank You” event on 15th March.
A teaser site has been opened for the project, but platforms and release window were not announced. An official reveal is planned for the “Metal Max” series “Birthday Eve” live stream on 23rd May.
▍About “Metal Saga”
“Metal Saga” is the fifth game of the “Metal Max” series developed by Success. It was first launched in Japan for Playstation 2 in June 2005. The game system is similar to most RPGs where the player uses various weapons and tanks to fight monsters that are a threat to humankind. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world in which humankind is driven to the brink of extinction by the machines known as “the Great Destruction” and their powerful firearms.
