Square Enix announced that the “Trials of Mana” action RPG is getting a mobile version during the 30th-anniversary celebration live stream of the Mana series on June 27. The mobile version will launch worldwide on July 15 for US$23.99. Pre-order is now available on Google Play and App Store.
▍Overview
“Trials of Mana” is a 3D remake of the 1995 Super Famicom title of the same name, the third game in the Mana series. The game, originally released in Japan as “Seiken Densetsu 3”, has been fully rebuilt from the ground up in 3D. The remake was first launched for PC, Switch and PS4 in April 2020.
Players start their adventure by selecting three of the six main characters. The overlapping story of interwoven destinies changes depending on who you choose as your main character and companions.
The UI will be redesigned to suit the mobile port. New functionality is also added, including auto-targeting, auto-camera, and auto-battling for players to automate some significant aspects of the game’s mechanics.
Players can obtain the starting gear “Rabite Adornment,“ which increases the EXP gained in battle up to level 17 and “Silktail Adornment,” which increases the amount of lucre gained in battle up to level 17.
