SEGA revealed the English intro trailers for the “Junior High and High School!! Kimetsu Academy Story” characters who are joining the Versus Mode in “Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles” console game.
■ Kimetsu Academy (Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, Giyu Tomioka)
■ Kimetsu Academy (Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira, Shinobu Kocho)
In Kimetsu Academy, Tanjiro Kamado is a stubborn but polite boy. He wears a memento, his father’s earrings, at school even though it is against the academy rules. Nezuko Kamado, a girl who always carries a baguette in her mouth, is always surprisingly hard to get up in the morning. Giyu Tomioka, the gym teacher, is famous for his harsh teaching style.
Zenitsu Agatsuma is a member of the academy’s disciplinary committee. Although he fears the naughty ones, he has the daily task of checking everyone’s attire according to the academy’s dress code. Raised by a boar, Inosuke Hashibira is the kind of student that brings nothing but his lunch to school while wearing short sleeves all year round. Shinobu Kocho is Miss Kimetsu in school, who is also a member of both the Pharmaceutical Research Club and the Fencing Club. These characters will appear in their Kimetsu Academy costumes along with their own Ultimate Arts!
▍About the Game
“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles” will be released on October 15 in North America and Europe, and on October 16 in Asia for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam. It will include English and Japanese voice-overs, and English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese subtitle options.
In Solo Mode, you will follow Tanjiro to dive into the story from the “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” anime! This game includes the events of the Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc where Tanjiro began his journey, joined the Demon Slayer Corps, and fought a variety of demons, as well as the Mugen Train Arc where he was accompanied by the Flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku.
12 characters from the anime, including Tanjiro Kamado and Nezuko Kamado, as well as 6 characters from the series’ official spinoff, “Junior High and High School!! Kimetsu Academy Story”, will join the Versus Mode. You can choose any combination of 2 characters from a total of 18 characters to take part in battles!
